The Laundry Doctor is a family owned, local business serving Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding communities.
Founded in 2001 by Jeff Gardner The Laundry Doctor become a trusted partner for thousands of customers in the greater Twin Cities that are seeking commercial laundry, linen rental, wash-dry-fold laundry, shirt laundry and dry cleaning. In 2023 the business was purchased by Peter and Kathy Allen. With their previous 10+ years of laundry and delivery experience the business will continue to thrive.

I work in an office or enclosed space, how do pick-up and delivery work?We have relationships with many Twin Cities workplaces that allow us to pick-up and deliver to the front office or concierge. We also have 24/7 lockers in many workplaces throughout the Twin Cities. If such a relationship does not exist, we can meet you in-person to pick-up and deliver, or we can pick-up and deliver to a central location such as a mailroom or breakroom. Just let us know in the order notes field when placing your order online or in the mobile app.

Some of my items require special care. how do I let you know?Please place these items into a separate plastic bag with an accompanying note. Place the plastic bag and note inside your Laundry Doctor bag and we will give these items the care and attention you requested. Please note that we charge $2.99 extra per item that requires handwashing or air-drying.

What items should I put in the blue garment bag?Anything you would like cleaned, pressed and returned on a hanger should go in the blue garment bag. If the item can be laundered we will automatically launder it. Items that require dry cleaning will be dry cleaned. We always closely follow the instructions on the garment care tag.

Do I need to separate my laundry?Anything you would like washed in a washing machine, dried in a tumble dryer and then folded should go into its own plastic bag(s). Anything you would like cleaned, pressed and returned on a hanger should go into a separate plastic bag(s). If you have items that require special care, such as air drying or special spotting, please place these items into another separate plastic bag with an accompanying note. From there, our trained professionals sort, pre-treat stains, dry clean or wash & fold, and package your clothing for you.
